This initiative is part of a program of 100 commemorative actions organized by the Tres Cantos City Council to celebrate the city's trajectory. These interventions focus on improving the urban and natural environment, providing new spaces for citizens to enjoy.
The new rose garden integrates with the existing complex of Central Park, which covers an area of nearly 2,300 square meters and houses over 3,200 rose bushes. The new planting includes specimens of the Knock Out variety, known for its remarkable disease resistance, low maintenance, and prolonged blooming from spring to autumn.
The inclusion of the Knock Out variety not only enriches the park's plant diversity but also enhances its resilience against pests and adverse environmental conditions. This characteristic significantly contributes to the park's sustainability and long-term conservation, solidifying the space as a key landscape attraction in Tres Cantos.
In addition to its ecological and aesthetic value, the rose garden will continue to serve as a venue for various cultural activities and events, reinforcing its role within the urban fabric of Tres Cantos.
