Third bull run in San Sebastián de los Reyes: Zalduendo bulls complete the course in 1:39

Wednesday's race gathered 1,600 participants and resulted in seven minor medical attentions, none from goring.

The third bull run of the San Sebastián de los Reyes festivities, with bulls from the Zalduendo ranch, concluded this Wednesday, August 26th, in 1 minute and 39 seconds.

The herd of bulls from the Zalduendo ranch completed the course to the plaza in 1:39, in a race marked by speed and several tense moments. The bulls sought out runners in the initial stretch, creating risky situations before regrouping on Calle Real.
The final part of the route, near Estafeta, saw some of the most intense runs, with participants facing the last stretch with great determination. The run was fully concluded when the entire herd entered the bullpens, at 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

Pedro Martínez, Head of Civil Protection, estimated the number of runners at 1,600, a figure slightly lower than the previous day. The medical team provided attention to seven people for minor ailments; six were discharged on-site. A seventh individual was transferred to the field hospital for medical evaluation due to a fractured arm.
The festival calendar in San Sebastián de los Reyes continues this Thursday, August 27th, with the fourth bull run, featuring bulls from the São Torcato ranch, scheduled to start at 11:00 AM.
