Madrid Emergency Services Honored at Jarama Truck Grand Prix

The emergency services of the Community of Madrid, ASEM112, received an emotional tribute this past weekend at the Jarama-RACE Circuit. The recognition was for their work during the fire that affected the western sierra region during the summer.

Before the start of the races for the 39th European Truck Grand Prix, the Director General of ASEM112, Pedro Antonio Ruiz, was presented with a Spanish flag. The flag was signed by all the participating drivers in the competition.
Following this, vehicles from the Community of Madrid Fire Department, the Forestry Agents Corps, and the Immediate Logistic Response Team of Civil Protection Volunteers for Emergencies (ERIVE) completed a ceremonial lap around the circuit.
The European Grand Prix featured 17 drivers from seven different nationalities. In parallel, the 8th Spanish Truck Racing Championship took place, with 12 participants.
