The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council has announced that registration for over 8,750 summer camp spots will open on May 13, maintaining prices from the last two years to support family reconciliation.

The “Mi Mejor Verano en San Sebastián de los Reyes” program aims to provide a solution for families during the summer period, with a wide range of activities organized by various departments. The initiative includes proposals from the areas of Sports, Education, Youth and Childhood, Environment, and Social Services.
The sports offering is the most extensive, with 7,611 places dedicated to camps that promote healthy habits and coexistence among minors. These camps include swimming pool days and the option of breakfast and lunch for families' convenience.

"The program brings together proposals organized by the departments of Sports, Education, Youth and Childhood, Environment, and Social Services, with an offer that covers sports, educational, environmental, and leisure activities."

Additionally, 666 spots have been reserved for families with fewer resources through the Social Welfare department, and a specific quota is set aside for minors with disabilities in collaboration with the FDI Foundation.
The Education department offers 450 spots in urban camps at the Príncipe Felipe school, with activities ranging from magic workshops and science experiments to urban dance, robotics, and English activities. Participants will also have access to the swimming pools at the Dehesa Boyal municipal sports center.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Childhood department has 650 spots for music courses, outdoor leisure, excursions outside the municipality, and proposals at the Youth Center, along with a multi-adventure English camp. The Dehesa Boyal Nature Center complements the offer with environmental education workshops, with 30 spots per fortnight.
Registration for sports camps will open on May 13 at 6:00 PM on the municipal website, without prior registration required. For youth, childhood, and environmental activities, prior registration and pre-registration are required between May 13 and May 28 for registered residents, with a lottery for spots on May 29. A new registration period will open on June 8 for any remaining vacancies.
