The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council has opened pre-registration for 22 free online training courses, aimed at the unemployed and workers in the municipality, to enhance their employability and digital skills.

The municipal Online Training Program has launched a new edition offering 22 free courses. These courses are designed to boost professional qualifications and participants' digital skills. The initiative is open to residents over 16 years old who are unemployed, as well as employees of private companies linked to the municipality.
The registration period will remain open until June 15th at 11:59 PM, or until all available spots are filled. The City Council's primary objective is to facilitate access to specialized training in areas with high labor demand and growing relevance in the current professional environment.
The training, delivered entirely online, covers various subjects such as IT, communications, languages, and business management. The aim is to provide practical and up-to-date knowledge to increase opportunities in the job market or strengthen employees' skills.
Among the highlighted courses are training modules on Excel 2021, artificial intelligence, Canva, and other technological tools. Additionally, specific modules on generative artificial intelligence platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot are included, along with language courses such as English, French, German, and Spanish for foreigners.
The training is intended for residents of San Sebastián de los Reyes aged 16 and over, including both the unemployed and employees of private companies within the municipality. Each participant can apply for a maximum of two courses, indicating their order of preference on separate forms.
To complete the application, interested individuals must present their DNI or NIE and provide proof of their employment status, such as an unemployment period report, work history record (vida laboral), or the header of their latest payslip, as applicable.
Classes are scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026. The City Council will notify admitted participants and those on the waiting list before this date. This initiative reinforces the municipal commitment to continuous training in digital skills, languages, and technological tools applied to the professional field.
