Next Sunday, June 7th, from 10 AM to 1 PM, the municipal sports center Dehesa Boyal in San Sebastián de los Reyes will transform into a grand sporting stage for a new edition of the Fiesta del Deporte. The event, which has become a benchmark in the municipality, offers a morning of outdoor activity designed for residents of all ages.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and try more than twenty sports disciplines, from team sports like basketball, volleyball, and futsal, to individual disciplines such as judo, boxing, tennis, and padel. There will also be skill and adventure-based activities like the rope park and climbing, as well as less common sports like hockey, skating, rugby, and handball.
The day is designed for anyone, whether a regular athlete or not, to discover new disciplines and enjoy the atmosphere. The organization has created a route allowing participants to move freely between different zones.
Beyond sports, the event includes areas for training and awareness. Notably, the Nature Classroom focuses on the link between physical activity and the natural environment. The Community of Madrid Firefighters will have their own activity space, and the Army will offer programs specifically for children, reinforcing the educational and family-oriented nature of the day.
One of the highlights will be the arrival of the 29th APADIS Inclusion Race 2026: A Goal For All. This race, organized by the association APADIS, underscores the municipality's commitment to inclusive sports and the integration of people with disabilities.
Families with children will find leisure areas equipped with inflatable castles, including some water-based ones, complementing the sports and fun offerings.
The Fiesta del Deporte also serves as a platform for local sports clubs and associations to gain visibility, offering exhibitions and activities that promote grassroots sports and healthy lifestyles.
The Sports Festival takes place on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, from 10 AM to 1 PM, at the municipal sports center Dehesa Boyal in San Sebastián de los Reyes. Participation is free, and comfortable clothing and sports shoes are recommended.
