Roadworks on the M-607, one of the main access routes to Colmenar Viejo and its surroundings, will be concentrated during nighttime hours to minimize disruption. These works are part of the final phase of a road improvement project aimed at optimizing its capacity and road safety.

Total traffic closures in the Madrid direction will occur between kilometer points 25+500 and 23+800 during the nights of Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15. During these interruptions, an alternative route will be available via exit 24, on Avenida del Parque, using the service road to rejoin the main highway.

Additionally, on the night of Thursday, April 16, the closure will specifically affect the exit and merge ramp 24 in the Madrid direction, due to specific work on the weaving lane. All these nightly closures will take place between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

In addition to nightly closures, daytime traffic will also be affected. On Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, the exit ramp 24 towards Colmenar may experience narrowings due to the installation of metal barriers. In the event of total closures at this point, buses from the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid will be allowed to pass. On Thursday, April 16, and Friday, April 17, the merge ramp 25 towards Colmenar Viejo could also experience temporary narrowings and closures.

The planned works involve laying the wearing course, which is the asphalt surface of the road, as part of the M-607's third lane expansion. In previous phases, platform widening and link adjustments have already been completed, preparing the road for this final resurfacing stage.
