The bulls from the Hermanos García Jiménez ranch completed the 820-meter course to the 'La Tercera' bullring in under two minutes. The herd, initially compact, gradually stretched out, allowing more experienced runners to position themselves close to the bulls.
The route featured special lighting from lanterns installed on the barriers, adapted for the event's nighttime schedule. The head of Civil Protection, Pedro Martínez, reported that the 14 medical assists were for bruises and falls, with a fractured elbow being the most significant injury.
Meanwhile, the councilor for Festivals and Security, Carlos Bolarín, described the performance of the security deployment, which was reinforced due to the expected high turnout, as "very positive."
The celebrations in San Sebastián de los Reyes will continue with the third bull run scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 AM, featuring bulls from the Zalduendo ranch.
