Local gastronomy has once again been the main focus in Algete thanks to its 'torrija' contest. On this occasion, the verdict was clear, and the main recognition went to Sidrería L’Asturianu. This establishment, known among residents for its good service and popularity, managed to win over palates with a proposal that stands out for its quality and flavor.
The awards ceremony was attended by the mayor of the town and the councilor for commerce. Both were responsible for presenting the diploma that certifies this business as the creator of the best 'torrija' in Algete.
An award that encourages consumption in local businesses.
However, restaurateurs were not the only protagonists of this day. The contest also aimed to thank the involvement of residents who actively participated by trying the different proposals. In this regard, luck smiled upon a local resident, who won the customer prize after participating in the event.
The winner received a voucher worth 100 euros, an amount with a very clear purpose: it must be spent in the participating businesses of the contest. This ensures that the prize continues to support the municipality's merchants.
