The fourteenth edition of 'La Despensa de Madrid' will take place in 2026, touring 19 municipalities within the Community to promote proximity products and support local producers.

The traveling market La Despensa de Madrid will embark on a tour of 19 municipalities in the Community in 2026, with the aim of highlighting local products and fostering direct connection between producers and consumers. This initiative, sponsored by the regional government, will be held outdoors, featuring 20 tents open on weekends from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
This year's circuit began in Daganzo de Arriba and will conclude in Colmenar Viejo in October. Throughout its journey, the market will visit a total of 19 locations spread across the region. Upcoming stops include Leganés and Alcalá de Henares this weekend, with a schedule already set for the following weeks.
The municipalities of Algete and Colmenar Viejo will be the final stops of the tour in October, thus closing the 2026 edition. Before its conclusion, the market will have visited towns such as Majadahonda, El Escorial, Guadarrama, Boadilla del Monte, Rivas Vaciamadrid, Collado Villalba, San Sebastián de los Reyes, and Morata de Tajuña, among others. After a break in July and August, activities will resume in September.
At La Despensa de Madrid, visitors can find a wide variety of local products, including olive oil, olives, smoked goods, fresh meat, craft beer, chocolate, preserves, cured meats, pastries, fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, liquors, honey, bread, baked goods, cheeses, vermouth, and wines, all sourced from producers within the Community of Madrid. Over 50 companies are participating this year, rotating their presence across different municipalities. Of these, 24 hold the M Producto Certificado seal, and 9 operate under organic production recognized by the CAEM.
The market also serves as a showcase for quality labels such as the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Vinos de Madrid and Aceite de Madrid, the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Carne de la Sierra de Guadarrama, the PGI Anís de Chinchón, and the Quality Designation Aceitunas de Campo Real.
This initiative aims to create employment and support the primary sector, particularly in rural areas of the Community, providing producers with a platform to showcase their products beyond their home towns. The full calendar is available on the Community of Madrid's website.
