The call for applications, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), establishes an application period from April 29 to May 27. These positions are part of the public employment offer for 2023 and fall under the Special Administration Scale, Special Services sub-scale, Group C, Subgroup C1, with a complement level of 20.
One of the five vacancies is specifically designated for professional military personnel from the Army and Navy who can demonstrate more than five years of active service and meet the other required conditions. This measure aligns with regulations aimed at facilitating the integration of military personnel into local security forces. Should this reserved position not be filled, it will be added to the other vacancies in the process.
Applicants must meet requirements such as Spanish nationality, being at least 18 years old, holding a Bachillerato degree or equivalent, and possessing a valid Class B driving license. Other requirements include having no criminal record, not having been dismissed from public service through disciplinary action, and not having been convicted of crimes against sexual freedom or integrity. Candidates must also sign a sworn declaration of commitment to carry and use weapons as stipulated by law.
The call allows for the possibility of increasing the number of positions if new vacancies arise before the start of the selective training course. This means that any new departures or retirements within the force could be added to the current process without the need for a new call for applications.
Applications can be submitted in person at the Colmenar Viejo City Council registries, located at Plaza del Pueblo, 1, and Calle Carlos Aragón Cancela, 5. The process can also be completed through the municipal electronic headquarters or any other authorized office. The full terms and conditions are available on the City Council's website and bulletin board.
