The Colmenar Viejo City Council has launched a new accessible digital guide, developed by Envera, which centralizes resources and services aimed at people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality.

The initiative, named ‘Guía Digital Colmenar Viejo incluye’, aims to facilitate access to services and benefits for users, their families, and professionals. The document was created by Envera, a social entity with nearly half a century of experience supporting people with disabilities, aligning with municipal policies for social and labor inclusion.
This unified digital guide consolidates all relevant information on available services across different administrative levels in a single digital environment. Content ranges from basic procedures to specific areas such as early intervention, education, housing, employment, and caregiver support. The content has been adapted for easy reading to ensure comprehension for users with diverse cognitive abilities, and its interactive format allows for agile consultation.
The presentation event included the mayor, Carlos Blázquez Rodríguez, the general director of Envera, Ainhoa Serrano Buces, and the councilor for Social Policy, Jesús Fernández Fuillerat. The mayor highlighted that the tool represents a step forward in supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families, reaffirming the municipal government's commitment to inclusion.
The guide clearly structures resources, integrating municipal, regional, and state services into a single document. Among the included content are details on administrative procedures, early intervention services, educational and training resources, housing options, employment programs, and caregiver support. The City Council emphasized the ease of immediate consultation through its digital access.
