The municipality of Colmenar Viejo will host a new edition of its Night Race and Walk on Saturday, July 18, a sporting event combining hiking and athletics in a rural setting.

The event, starting at 9:00 PM with the start and finish line located on Avenida de los Toros, features a 10-kilometer route designed to take place at night. Organizers have emphasized that the course will be marked with fluorescent tape to ensure participant safety throughout the event.
Participation is open to individuals over 14 years old for the race category, while the non-competitive walk is open to those aged 7 and up. Minors must provide the corresponding authorization to participate.
The participation kit includes a headlamp, the official t-shirt, and refreshments along the route. Registrations will remain open via the official website until July 17 at 11:59 PM or until all available bibs are claimed.

"The route is designed for all audiences: from experienced runners to those who simply want to live a different experience."
