The selected play for this initiative is '¿Pito caballo? Pues no hay más mus', staged by the company Patxatxos Konpainia. The performance will take place at the Tres Cantos Municipal Theater.
The play's plot centers on two young individuals who, five years after their first meeting, aim to collect fifteen euros from the audience. Over slightly more than an hour, the characters explore various situations that encourage reflection on contemporary society, touching upon themes such as friendship, loyalty, and sexual freedom through a lens of humor and absurd elements.
The performance includes satirical references to a fictional political party with a pelican as its emblem, as well as a personal credit and well-known TV contests. The narrative's driving force is the repeated request for fifteen euros from the attending audience.
Patxatxos Konpainia, founded in 2024 by Endika Palacios and Aitor Jiménez, performers trained at the Basque Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance (ESADD, DANTZERTI), was established with the aim of developing a distinct artistic identity and telling stories with a sociocritical and humorous approach.
The company members are traveling from Bilbao to participate in this event altruistically. The entirety of the ticket revenue will be distributed equally between AMI3 and the CTNNB1 Association.
Tickets for this charity performance are now available for the show scheduled on September 16th.
