The Dehesa Boyal Nature Center in San Sebastián de los Reyes will host an introductory astronomy day on May 10, combining a theoretical session with a practical workshop for children aged seven and older.

This activity, designed for those seeking a first approach to astronomy, will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the municipal facilities, located near the Municipal Sports Center.
The program includes a fundamental explanation of the universe, covering topics such as the differences between stars, planets, and satellites, the formation of the solar system, the nature of shooting stars, and concepts like black holes and wormholes. This part aims to provide an understandable foundation for individuals without prior knowledge.
The second part of the day will be dedicated to younger audiences, with a practical workshop adapted for children aged seven and above. The goal is to foster an interest in science from an early age through educational and interactive activities.
To participate, prior registration is mandatory through the Nature Center's website. Spaces are limited, and once capacity is reached, interested individuals will be placed on a waiting list. The organization will contact registered participants to confirm attendance and provide updated information about the activity's development.
