Residents of Algete can now pay their municipal taxes from home thanks to the new online payment gateway integrated into the City Council's website.

Since Tuesday, the Algete City Council website features an online payment gateway allowing citizens to settle taxes, fees, and fines using a bank card or Bizum, eliminating the need to visit a bank branch.
Previously, paying municipal bills in Algete required a trip to a bank. The new platform simplifies this process, enabling payments to be completed directly from the municipal website quickly, easily, and securely.
According to the City Council, this is the first service of its kind launched by the municipality to facilitate resident procedures.
The payment gateway process is intuitive and does not require advanced technical knowledge. Users should navigate to the "Pago de Tributos" (Tax Payment) section on the municipal website and enter the details from the bill or settlement, such as C.P.R., Emisora, Identificación, Referencia, and Importe. Payment can be made via bank card or Bizum.
A notable simplification is that neither a Digital Certificate nor the Cl@ve system is required for identification. Upon completion of the payment, the system automatically generates a receipt.
The platform is directly connected with CaixaBank.

"To facilitate the daily tasks of residents, saving them time and travel, and bringing municipal services ever closer to their homes."
