The celebration will kick off at 8:00 PM and continue until past midnight, offering a diverse program of activities for all ages. The Fairgrounds will transform into the heart of the festival, blending ancient rituals with modern entertainment.
Attendees can enjoy a special San Juan art and craft market, as well as musical entertainment. The Institutional Booth will be open between 8:00 PM and 11:30 PM to provide information about the bonfire jump ritual and the customs of this magical night.
Children will have their own space with workshops such as 'The 4 Elements of Nature' and crafts, in addition to a parade animation show. For families, the workshop 'Without Addictions, There Are More Options' has been organized.
Local gastronomy will play a prominent role, with food and bar services provided by local associations from 8:00 PM until 1:30 AM.
The group will perform the traditional Conxuro da Queimada, the Galician ritual of Celtic origin that involves setting fire to aguardiente while reciting a spell to ward off evil spirits.
One of the highlights will be the performance by Las Cantareiras and the Banda de Gaitas de la Xuntanza de Galegos, who will present the traditional Conxuro da Queimada, followed by a tasting. Later, the Orquesta Pikante will liven up the evening with their music.
The torchlight parade, led by the Banda de Gaitas Jóvenes de la Xuntanza de Galegos, will precede the most anticipated moment: the jump over the San Juan Bonfire at 12:00 AM, a ritual that, according to tradition, brings good luck.
The festivities will continue with a second set by the Orquesta Pikante starting at 12:15 AM. The San Juan Night in Alcobendas is consolidating itself as a popular event bringing together residents of all generations, organized by the Alcobendas City Council.
