The town of Alcobendas is gearing up for its San Isidro 2026 Festivities, taking place from May 14 to 17, offering a wide array of free concerts, shows, and family activities, primarily centered in Parque de Andalucía and Plaza del Pueblo.
The festive program includes eleven concerts and four musical shows, complemented by deeply rooted traditions such as the pilgrimage in Pinar de San Isidro, a fireworks display, and the traditional distribution of 'rosquillas' (doughnuts). Musical performances are the central focus of the celebration, with prominent artists entertaining the crowds at the fairgrounds.
Confirmed artists for the concerts at the fairgrounds include Juan Magán, Raya Real, and Despistaos. On Friday, May 15, Raya Real will perform at 10:00 PM, followed by Juan Magán at midnight. On Saturday, May 16, Despistaos will take the stage at 00:00, and Melón Diesel at 1:00 AM on Sunday. Other groups such as the orchestra Paris de Noia, the Hermanos Martínez, The Gafapasta, and a tribute to La Oreja de Van Gogh will also be part of the lineup. The opening of the festivities, on Thursday, May 14, will be led by Dj Pulpo. In Plaza del Pueblo, the program includes the show Coplas de la España mía by Alejandro Galán and a performance by the Orquesta Evasión.
As a novelty, the main stage will incorporate three video screens to optimize public visibility, and a unified sound system has been implemented in the booths to prevent interference and improve communication of announcements. Additionally, a gastronomic competition will debut, awarding the best tapa of the San Isidro 2026 Fair among the offerings from the fairground booths.
Sunday, May 17, will be dedicated to Family Day, with activities designed for children and young people. The day will feature a popular paella with 1,200 servings for residents. Planned children's shows include El Pollo Pepe, Guerreras K-Pop, White Botton, and Diminuts.
To ensure the safety of attendees, the City Council has established a special operation that will include 100 daily Local Police officers, coordinated with 90 members of the National Police and 60 from Civil Protection. Furthermore, 33 municipal workers will be responsible for daily cleaning of the venue, which will have 123 waste containers strategically distributed throughout the space.
