The VI Alcobendas Book Fair is held at Parque de Cataluña from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26, offering an extensive cultural program with author signings, storytelling, and discounts on book purchases.

This weekend, Parque de Cataluña in Alcobendas becomes the epicenter of the city's VI Book Fair. This event, now a fixture on the municipality's cultural calendar, presents a more ambitious program than ever, inviting residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the world of reading and authors in an open and accessible environment.
The official inauguration will take place on Friday, April 24 at noon, marking the start of three days filled with activities. The fair is designed to attract both experienced readers and those still searching for their next favorite story. One of the main novelties of this edition is the large number of writers who will be present at the stands.
More than a hundred authors will participate throughout the weekend, providing the opportunity to sign books and chat with readers, a rare experience outside major cities. Signings will begin on Friday with the presence of various writers, and will continue intensely on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, covering a wide variety of literary genres.

"One of the great commitments of this edition is the volume of writers present at the fair's stands. Throughout the weekend, more than a hundred authors will be available to sign their books and chat with readers, a rare opportunity outside major cities."

Parallel to the signing stands, the AlCuento tent will offer a special program for younger audiences, although it will also include proposals for adults. Under the theme “Spring Edition,” this space will host storytelling, puppet shows, and magic acts, all related to the world of books. All activities in the tent are free to access until full capacity is reached, so early arrival is recommended.
In addition to the festive and cultural atmosphere, the fair offers an extra incentive: a 10% discount on book purchases at the sixteen participating bookstores and publishers. This initiative represents an excellent opportunity to refresh one's personal library and, at the same time, support the independent bookstores and publishers taking part in the event.
