The Community of Madrid has registered the General Budgets Law project for 2027 in the regional Assembly, the fourth and final of the XIII Legislature and the highest in its history with 32,911.5 million euros, a 7.3% increase compared to this year.

The regional government thus concludes four years by presenting the accounts on time and in form. The Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, has detailed the main figures of the project to the president of the regional Parliament, Enrique Ossorio. This budget allocates almost 20,000 million euros to Health and Education, which represents six out of every ten euros of the total, and social spending accounts for nearly nine out of every ten euros.
Albert emphasized that the Community of Madrid presents balanced Budgets once again this year, without deficit or net debt. The accounts have been prepared with a macroeconomic framework endorsed by the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF), providing stability and certainty to families and businesses.
The three areas with the greatest weight in the budget are growing significantly: Health by 10.6%; Education, Science and Universities by 11.2%; and Family, Youth and Social Affairs by 21.2%. The minister also recalled that the project incorporates six new tax reductions, bringing the total to 41 since 2019.
