This initiative, titled 'Gala Creaciones elenco BECM,' primarily aims to enhance creativity among the company's dancers, offering them opportunities to expand their professional experience beyond performance.
The evening will open with 'Viceversa,' a 25-minute flamenco piece conceived by José Molina. This work represents one of the choreographic approaches supported by the company itself, allowing artists to explore and express their artistic concerns on stage.
Following this, Lucía Ramírez will present '40kHz,' a piece that blends the languages of Spanish dance and flamenco. This work features the choreographic and interpretive collaboration of Raffaele Di Noia and exemplifies the hybridization of traditions characteristic of the ensemble's creations.
The gala will conclude with 'Danza para las flores,' by Borja Cortés, a creation linked to the stylization of the shoe and flamenco. Participating in this piece will be Chelo Pantoja and Carmen Ruiz on vocals, Iván Losada and David Cerreduela on guitar, and Lucky Losada on percussion.
The project seeks to reinforce the formative and professional dimension of the BECM by enabling its performers to explore other facets of the creative process. The company aims to foster the emergence of new choreographers capable of engaging with the tradition of Spanish dance and investigating its contemporary possibilities.
The gala draws from the concept of tradition as a living heritage, serving as a starting point for experimentation and creation. Through this event, the audience can discover another dimension of the ensemble's members and approach the creative aspirations that coexist within the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid.
