Young Man Stabbed in Brawl on Gran Vía, Madrid

A young man, approximately 20 years old, sustained minor stab wounds during a brawl involving about ten people on Madrid's Gran Vía last Friday night.

The incident occurred near number 45 of Gran Vía. The National Police received the alert around 10:30 PM. Upon arrival, officers found a male with a stab wound to his left hemithorax.
Samur paramedics attended to the young man. Although his injuries were classified as minor, he was transported to Hospital Clínico as a potentially serious patient.
The National Police has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the fight. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the police force has not confirmed if the incident is related to Latin gangs.
