Two women sustained minor injuries this Saturday following a spectacular traffic accident on Padilla street, in Madrid's Salamanca district, when the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into the facade of a herbalist shop.

The incident occurred when the car's driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons still under investigation, with the car ending up embedded in the facade of a commercial establishment, a herbalist shop, penetrating its interior.
The capital's emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene. Paramedics from SAMUR-Civil Protection attended to the two occupants of the car, who suffered minor injuries as a result of the impact.

For their part, firefighters from the Madrid City Council had to intervene at the affected business to safely remove the car.

Once the vehicle was removed, the firefighters carried out work to secure the structural elements and facade that had become unstable, focusing particularly on repairing the damage to the shop's entrance to ensure area safety.
To facilitate the work of the emergency teams and the removal of the crashed vehicle, patrols from the Madrid Municipal Police closed off a section of Padilla street. The police force has taken charge of traffic management in the surrounding areas and the preparation of the corresponding accident report.
