Three arrested after brutal brawl with stabbings in San Blas

The National Police have arrested three men after a brawl that occurred early Sunday morning in the Madrid district of San Blas, in which three people were injured by a knife.

The fight took place near a brewery and mobilized SAMUR emergency medical services. They treated two young men, aged 23 and 24, with injuries to their rib area, and a 36-year-old man with injuries to his hand.
One of the young men suffered the most serious injuries and was urgently transferred to La Paz Hospital. The other was evacuated to 12 de Octubre Hospital with a less serious prognosis. The 36-year-old man, belonging to the other group involved, had cuts to the fourth and fifth fingers of his right hand and was taken to Gregorio Marañón Hospital.
The arrested individuals are three men of Spanish nationality, aged between 24 and 36. They are being investigated as alleged perpetrators of crimes of disorderly conduct and assault.
The investigation remains open to clarify the exact circumstances of the fight, with the collaboration of the Madrid Municipal Police.
