The School Age Sports competition is for athletes between 3 and 19 years old who do not hold a federation license in the sport they participate in. The sports activity must be directed, with a weekly volume of up to three hours distributed in two or three sessions of at least one hour, excluding competition. This practice must be carried out by a registered sports entity belonging to a participating municipality in the call.
ORDER 939/2026, of May 20, from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport, regulates the activities and competitions for the 2026-2027 season. Resolution 71/2026 from the Director General of Sports approves the definitive list of 125 participating municipalities in the Madrid Community's program.
The regulations applicable to the final phases of the 2026-2027 edition of the program will be published shortly.
The GCAM management tool facilitates the registration of teams and athletes. A manual has been published to guide this process, available in PDF format.
In case of an accident, healthcare assistance is initially managed through Social Security. An insurer's action protocol and an injury report are provided, along with additional information on the accident action protocol (DEE).
