The gathering, organized by the Church of Madrid, is part of Pope Leo XIV's agenda in Spain, scheduled from June 6 to June 12. In addition to the main artists, the Bernabéu stage will host Luis Alfredo, Chito Morales, and Maite López.
The musical program will include performances by the Cruz Diez Symphony Orchestra and the Pop Salesianos band. Choreographer Ismael Olivas and his dancers will also join the show, enhancing the artistic offering of the event.
For this special occasion, a large-scale Madrid Church Family Choir has been formed, comprising 1,000 singers, 300 of whom are children. They will be accompanied by 70 musicians and 100 dancers, under the musical direction of diocesan priest Toño Casado.
The event will commence approximately two hours before the Pontiff's arrival at the stadium. During the celebration, a musical repertoire will be performed, ranging from classical compositions by Beethoven to contemporary works by artists such as Kiko Argüello and Hakuna, designed to encourage prayer and participation from the Madrid diocese.
One of the most significant moments will be the performance of the hymn Alza la mirada, a composition created specifically for the visit of Pope Leo XIV, which will be sung by all voices of the Madrid Church Family Choir.
