The Puente de Vallecas District Council has opened the registration period for its urban summer camps, a free initiative aimed at children aged between 3 and 12 years, designed to offer healthy leisure options and support family work-life balance.

These camps will be held at the Fray Junípero Serra and Madrid Sur Early Childhood and Primary Education Centers (CEIP). The main schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an extended option starting at 7:30 AM, which includes breakfast for participants.
The summer activity program is divided into six distinct periods, running from late June to early September. The established dates are: from June 22 to July 3, from July 6 to July 17, from July 20 to July 31, from August 3 to August 14, from August 17 to August 28, and finally, from August 31 to September 4.
To be eligible for these camps, minors must be registered residents in the Puente de Vallecas district. Additionally, parents or guardians must be employed or enrolled in a job training course. For single-parent or separated families, it will be necessary to provide the family book or the regulatory agreement.
The registration period will remain open until Tuesday, March 24, and can be completed through the Puente de Vallecas website. Should demand exceed the available places, a lottery will be held. The final list of admitted participants will be published on Monday, April 13, on the municipal website and on the notice boards of the district's social services centers, as well as at the Casa Bulevar Municipal Senior Citizens' Center and the Río Esmeralda Intergenerational Center.
