A 49-year-old man has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition after being the victim of a knife attack. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at a residence located on Santa Bárbara street, in the Centro district of the capital.
The events took place around 1:20 AM. Summa 112 emergency services arrived at the scene, attended to the victim, and managed to stabilize him before his urgent transfer to the hospital.
Sources from Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid reported that the injured man had multiple stab wounds to his chest, back, and face, necessitating his immediate evacuation in serious condition.
The National Police has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the assault and to identify those responsible for the attack.
