This training initiative, which requires no registration or prior knowledge, will take place in shopping centers, squares, and cultural centers across the capital's 21 districts. The goal is to equip citizens to respond effectively in critical situations until professional help arrives.
The schedule of activities will begin on August 30th at the Parque Océana in El Pardo, within the Fuencarral-El Pardo district, starting at 9 AM. Subsequently, in September, the program will visit Moncloa-Aravaca on the 12th, coinciding with the '12 sports/12 months' activity focused on volleyball, and the Faculty of Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid on the 14th.
The Retiro district will host two training sessions: on September 26th, as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Sports Day, and on September 30th, for the Nursing College's Professions Day. In October, Fuencarral-El Pardo will again be the venue for an activity between the 2nd and 4th, linked to 'Código Héroe II' at the La Vaguada shopping center.
The initiative will continue in Villaverde on November 16th, during the VII Congress on Occupational Risk Prevention. Finally, Fuencarral-El Pardo will host a final session on November 17th, in conjunction with the Blood Donation Marathon organized by Hospital La Paz.
This program is part of the Civil Protection Department's Citizen Training Plan, which aims to expand access to first aid training and establish new learning spaces in Madrid's various districts.
