The Real Madrid election day, scheduled for Sunday, June 7, will be complemented by a special transport operation. Ahead of Pope Leo XIV's visit to the capital, the Madrid City Council has approved the creation of a shuttle system to connect various points of the city with the club's headquarters in Valdebebas.

Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida confirmed the municipal collaboration with the Madrid entity to establish suitable locations for these bus stops. The main objective is to minimize access difficulties to the sports city, which could be affected by the security arrangements and traffic restrictions resulting from the religious event.

While the logistics of the stops have been validated by the local administration, the operational management rests entirely with Real Madrid. The club will be responsible for the frequency of the vehicles and for communicating the exact location of the boarding points to its members.

This preventive measure aims to ensure that the high participation expected in the club's presidential elections proceeds without mobility issues, thereby guaranteeing the voting rights of the members.
