Agents from the GREIM unit in Navacerrada conducted a total of four interventions, assisting five individuals in different parts of the Community of Madrid.
One operation took place near the recreational area of El Mirador de Lozoyuela. A couple hiking with their dog requested assistance after becoming disoriented at nightfall and unable to continue their route. GREIM personnel, along with citizen security officers from the Guardia Civil post in Torrelaguna, located and rescued the pair.
The remaining rescues were prompted by injuries sustained by hikers. Notably, a man in the La Pedriza area had to be evacuated after a fall resulted in a dislocated right shoulder, preventing him from finishing the trek independently. This intervention required the deployment of a Guardia Civil helicopter for a rapid hoist evacuation, after which the individual was transported to a hospital.
