Madrid Fills with Art and Culture with a Diverse Exhibition Offer

The Spanish capital presents a wide range of exhibitions covering everything from pop culture to ancient history and classical art, offering options for all tastes.

The city of Madrid becomes a cultural hub with an extensive program of exhibitions for the coming days, offering residents and visitors an immersion in art, history, and technology.

Among the most striking proposals is The Fan Empire Strikes Back, the largest exhibition created by and for fans of the most iconic saga, located at Espacio Ibercaja Delicias until July 5. Likewise, the Korean Cultural Center in Spain hosts Stories Clad in Hanbok by digital artist Wooh Nayoung, which merges pop culture and Korean tradition until July 31.
For history and technology enthusiasts, Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City offers a virtual reality experience that transports visitors to the ancient Inca Empire at Fever Hub Madrid. Another immersive option is Horizon of Cheops: An Expedition through Ancient Egypt, also at Fever Hub Madrid until June 28, combining history and technology to recreate the golden Egyptian era.
Classical art also has its place with Greco, Velázquez, Goya: Immortal Triad at the Nomad Immersive Museum, an exhibition that immerses the public in the works of these Spanish masters. Meanwhile, the Palacio de Liria pays tribute to the 18th Duchess of Alba with the exhibition Cayetana. Grande de España, highlighting her contribution to the conservation of the historical and artistic legacy of the House of Alba, open from September to February.
The offer is completed with exhibitions such as From Video Games at the OXO Video Game Museum until June 21, which traces the history of this medium. The Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza offers guided tours of its permanent collection on weekends and holidays, while the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas presents Domestic Engineers and the Kitchen Revolution, exploring the evolution of domestic space between the 19th and 20th centuries, until September 27.
Finally, the Museo Cerralbo exhibits the Portrait of Doña Regla Manjón, Countess of Lebrija until September 6, and the Museo del Prado presents The Painting of Hunger, analyzing José Aparicio's work The Year of Hunger in Madrid (1818) until September 13. These and other exhibitions, such as Disney: The Exhibition. 100 Years of Magic at the Fundación Canal Sala Castellana 214 until July 5, consolidate Madrid as a top-tier cultural destination.
