Madrid is preparing to celebrate the LGTBIQ+ Pride Festivals 2026 from July 1st to 5th, expecting around one million attendees for concerts, parades, and activities.

The streets of Madrid will be filled with the colors of the rainbow starting this Wednesday to celebrate LGTBIQ+ Pride, a festival that attracts thousands of people to advocate for and enjoy diversity. Approximately one million attendees are expected between July 1st and 5th.
The program will primarily take place in the Chueca neighborhood, with four main stages located in Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Plaza del Rey, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de España.
The celebration will officially kick off on Wednesday, July 1st, at Plaza de Pedro Zerolo with the opening speech by La Plexy. This year, the speech will feature three transgender actors: Afioco Gnecco, Zack Gómez-Rolls, and Silver Chicón, aiming to raise visibility for trans men and intersexuality. The theme for this year is “To the streets with pride! Dissidence and resistance,” with a strong cinematic focus.
Concerts are a highlight, with performances scheduled by artists such as Ptazeta, Pasión Vega, Melani, Mon Laferte, Lali, Nuria Fergó, Blanca Paloma, and Daniela Blasco. The most significant event will be the national demonstration on Saturday, July 4th, which will parade through the city from Glorieta de Carlos V to Plaza de Colón.
These festivities, coordinated by the State LGTBI Pride Organizing Committee (FELGTB, COGAM, and Aegal), aim to showcase Madrid as an open, proud, and diverse city.
The program details daily activities, including musical performances, presentations, and special events across the city's various stages and venues.
