Mad Cool Festival kicks off its tenth edition at the Iberdrola Music venue today, featuring a lineup of over 70 international artists and bands. The festival runs from July 8th to 11th, with acts like Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, Pulp, Wolf Alice, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Jennie, and Moby performing across its five stages.
This 2026 edition introduces a new space distribution aimed at improving attendee flow, acoustics, and overall comfort. Rest and dining areas have been expanded, shaded zones increased by 40%, and hydration points, restrooms, and bars have been reinforced.
In collaboration with the Music For All Foundation, the festival will provide accessibility resources such as noise-canceling headphones, vibrating backpacks, magnetic loops, crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, and braille programming.
The opening day will be headlined by Foo Fighters, marking their only concert in Spain this year as part of their ‘Take Over Tour’ world tour. Also performing on the main Region of Madrid stage are The Warning and Wolf Alice. The Orange stage will host Palaye Royale, The Last Dinner Party, The War On Drugs, and Moby. On The Loop Iberdrola stage, acts include Jehnny Beth, The War and Treaty, Dogstar, and The Vaccines. The Mahou Cinco Estrellas stage will feature HotWax, Villanelle, Madmadmad, and Liens Très Dangereux, while Mahou Reserva will present Hot Milk, Bigger Splash, and Hoonine.
On Thursday, Florence + The Machine will close the programming on the Region of Madrid stage. Also performing on that stage are Reneé Rapp, Lorde, and Jennie. The Orange stage will feature CMAT, Charlie Puth, Zara Larsson, Teddy Swims, and The Blaze DJ Set. On The Loop Iberdrola, attendees can see Amrita, Yung Prado, Palms Trax, and Boys Noize. The Mahou Cinco Estrellas stage will host Candela Gómez, Chloe Slater, Sadie Jean, Florentenes, and Color, with Mahou Reserva presenting Zimmer90, Son Mieux, La Paloma, and Frost Children.
On Friday, Twenty One Pilots will headline the Region of Madrid stage. Also performing on that stage are Halsey, Pixies, and Kings Of Leon. The Orange stage lineup includes Linka Moja, Holly Humberstone, Sigrid, A Perfect Circle, and Interpol. On The Loop Iberdrola, Maesic, Weval, Swimming Paul, Bunt, and Polo & Pan DJ Set will perform. The Mahou Cinco Estrellas stage will feature Tape Visitors, Midnight Generation, Cliffords, My First Time, and Babylon, while Mahou Reserva will host Los Blody, Karen Dío, Rio Kosta, and Usted Señalemelo.
The final day will feature Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Pulp on the main Region of Madrid stage. Jalen Ngonda and The Black Crowes will also perform there. The Orange stage will host Matt Berninger, Kasabian, and David Byrne. On The Loop Iberdrola, Luxi Villar, Aerea, Nina Kraviz, and Richie Hawtin will perform. The Mahou Cinco Estrellas stage will include Bad Tomato, Persia Holder, The Reytons, and Supermodel, while Mahou Reserva will close the festival with Break The Senses, Tissfu, Overpass, Yulie, and KSAL.
Organizers recommend using public transport to access the venue, with services from Metro de Madrid, Cercanías, and EMT. Access by private vehicle, taxi, or VTC is also available.
