This Sunday, Hoyo de Manzanares prepares to host a new edition of the 'La Despensa de Madrid' Market at Plaza de la Caldereta, featuring a wide range of Madrid agri-food products.

The municipality of Hoyo de Manzanares will bid farewell to summer this Sunday, September 20th, with 20 tents set up at Plaza de la Caldereta for the 'La Despensa de Madrid' Market. This initiative, organized by the Community of Madrid, aims to bring local production closer to residents.
From 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, attendees can purchase a wide variety of foods directly from producers. The offerings will include olive oil, olives, smoked products, fresh meat, beer, chocolate, preserves, cured meats, empanadas, fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, liquors, honey, bread, pastries, cheeses, vermouth, and wines. There will also be a significant representation of organic produce.
The main goal of this initiative is to promote local consumption by showcasing the diversity of foods produced and grown in the Community of Madrid. The aim is to boost rural economies and foster sustainable job creation, contributing to the development of these areas.
