High-speed train services between Madrid and Andalusia have returned to normal this Thursday following repairs to infrastructure damaged by a cable theft in the province of Ciudad Real.

The incident, which occurred between the municipalities of Urda and Malagón, caused service disruptions starting Wednesday afternoon. According to the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (Adif), the fault was resolved early Thursday morning, specifically at 06:30.
Delays began at 17:00 on Wednesday, impacting services operated by Renfe, Iryo, and Ouigo. Following the technical intervention, Renfe officially announced that rail traffic in the affected section is now operating normally.
