A councilor from Más Madrid has requested the Madrid City Council to install giant screens in Vallecas for residents to watch the Conference League final, which Rayo Vallecano will play on May 27.

The proposal, submitted in writing to the district's councilor-president, suggests the fairgrounds of Payaso Fofó Park as a suitable location. This space is considered large enough to accommodate a significant number of people in a family-friendly atmosphere, allowing fans to enjoy the match without having to travel outside the district.

"Vallecas lives football as an essential part of its identity, and Rayo Vallecano is not just a club, it's the neighborhood. We want everyone to enjoy this unique and special event in the neighborhood."

For his part, the Mayor of Madrid has indicated that the most viable option would be to install the screens inside the Vallecas stadium itself. This alternative would facilitate logistical management and security arrangements, according to the mayor's statements.

"We are willing to study the different scenarios that may exist, but for us, the most reasonable and appropriate from a logistical, organizational, and public services perspective is that these screens can be installed in the stadium."

Meanwhile, Rayo Vallecano has set up a platform for purchasing tickets for the UEFA Conference League final. However, the process has generated complaints among fans due to initial technical problems with the system, which made it difficult to request codes to access ticket purchases.
