Extensive Security Operation for Real Madrid-Bayern Match at Bernabéu

Over 1,700 personnel will ensure safety at the Champions League fixture, with 4,300 German fans expected.

The Government Delegation in Madrid has organized an extensive security operation involving 1,774 personnel for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The deployment, designed to ensure the safety of attendees, will include the participation of various forces and bodies. Among them are agents from the National Police, with specialized units such as the Police Intervention Unit, the Special Cavalry Unit, the Provincial Information Brigade, Subsoil, Condor-Drones, Canine Guides, and the Mobile Brigade.
In addition to the National Police, the operation will involve the Municipal Police of Madrid, personnel from SAMUR-Civil Protection and the Red Cross, members of the Fire Department, and Mobility staff. Security guards and assistants from the football club itself will also join, and surveillance will be reinforced on the Metro service.
It is estimated that the match will attract approximately 4,300 German fans with tickets, within a total capacity of around 77,000 people. To facilitate the work of the agents and ensure smooth access, all stadium attendees are advised to arrive well in advance to pass through the established security checks.
