This intervention is part of a comprehensive strategy against drug trafficking that has allowed for the dismantling of a total of 12 drug sales points in the region. Among the seized goods are over six kilograms of substances such as cocaine, ketamine, tussi, marijuana, and hashish, as well as 42,000 euros in cash. Firearms, bladed weapons, perfumes, mobile phones, and an electric scooter, allegedly used for drug transport, were also confiscated.
Investigations in Torrejón de Ardoz began in December when agents detected a residence near children's areas where drug transactions were taking place. Following several inquiries, a man residing in the dwelling was identified as being involved in hashish trafficking.
The search of the property, carried out on March 24, led to the seizure of 30 fragments of hashish, a small bag of marijuana, several knives, a dagger, a machete, over 1,600 euros in cash, jewelry, tools for drug preparation and distribution, and a notebook with annotations. The individual was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health and subsequently brought before the court.
During the first three months of 2026, the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid has dismantled 64 drug sales points and arrested 97 people for drug-related offenses, underscoring the authorities' ongoing commitment to combating this illicit activity.
