The police intervention occurred around 4:30 PM when officers noticed a car parked illegally. Upon approaching to identify the driver, they observed evident signs of agitation, including involuntary tremors and profuse sweating.
The man spontaneously admitted to carrying a dose of 'pink cocaine' or tusi hidden in his sock, voluntarily handing over the package along with a pipe found in the glove compartment. Despite his initial cooperation, the suspect's suspicious attitude prompted a thorough search of the vehicle.
During the inspection of the car, officers discovered over one hundred euros in cash and a commercial Monster brand can that had been altered to function as a secret compartment. Inside the container was a vial with a translucent fluid, which the arrested individual described as a psychotropic substance.
The car search also revealed additional bags with pink and salmon-colored powders, two packages of brown rocky material, a bag of translucent crystals, and various drug consumption items stored in the glove compartment. Preliminary analyses identified the seized material as hashish, MDMA, and tusi.
Subsequently, canine units re-inspected the vehicle without detecting further narcotics. The man, who had no prior police record, was taken to police facilities accused of a crime against public health and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
