The Civil Guard has dismantled a significant cannabis plantation in a warehouse in the industrial estate of Paracuellos de Jarama in mid-May, seizing 2,150 plants.

The operation, carried out by the Civil Guard in mid-May, resulted in the dismantling of a marijuana plantation located in a warehouse within the industrial estate of Paracuellos de Jarama. Consequently, two men were arrested, and a third is under investigation.
Agents acted upon receiving information about the possible existence of such a facility. Upon arriving at the scene, they confirmed the presence of a strong characteristic smell of marijuana and observed climate control equipment consistent with an illegal plantation.
After obtaining the appropriate judicial authorization, the warehouse was entered and searched. A total of 2,150 marijuana plants in various stages of flowering were seized. Additionally, numerous artificial lighting systems, air conditioners, precision scales, fertilizers, and filters designed to mask the odor were confiscated.
The two arrested individuals and the one under investigation are allegedly the owners and managers of the plantation. They are charged with a supposed crime against public health for cultivating narcotic substances, as well as a crime of electricity fraud.
