The 46th edition of the Rock Villa de Madrid Awards, held at the Las Vistillas stage, has crowned Dear Joanne as the winner, showcasing the richness of the emerging music scene.

As part of the musical programming for the San Isidro Festivities 2026, the Rock Villa de Madrid Awards, organized by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, in collaboration with Radio 3 and the Society of Artists, Performers and Musicians (AIE), celebrated their 46th edition on the Las Vistillas stage. Dear Joanne took home the first prize in an event that highlighted the richness and diversity of the emerging music scene.
From 6:00 PM, attendees enjoyed live performances from the five finalist projects: Dear Joanne, Jike, Dura Calá, Carmen Lillo, and Catuxa Salom. They presented a journey through different sonic languages, from rock and punk to electronic, alternative pop, and roots music reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective. Radio 3 broadcast the finalists' concerts and the awards ceremony.
The jury highlighted the artistic quality of the proposals and the high level of the final, reaffirming the competition's role as a platform for new talents. Dear Joanne impressed with a solid performance and a live show that connected with the audience. The second prize went to Jike, and the third to Dura Calá. Catuxa Salom received the Radio 3 Award, which includes recording 'Los Conciertos de Radio 3', and the AIE Award for best performer was given to Jike, enabling participation in the 'AIEnRuta Artists 2027' circuit.
The Villa, a veteran and recognized music competition, maintains its commitment to independent music and the search for new voices, reinforcing its status as one of the city's most emblematic events. Throughout its more than four decades, it has served as a starting point for artists who later became established on the national scene.
The day concluded with a performance by the group Camellos, the invited artist, who offered a special concert to celebrate their tenth anniversary, bringing a close to a night marked by energy and diversity within the festive atmosphere of San Isidro.
The awards for the 46th edition include: First Prize for Dear Joanne (6,000 euros), Second Prize for Jike (3,000 euros), and Third Prize for Dura Calá (1,000 euros). Additionally, Jike received the AIE Award for best performer, Catuxa Salom the Radio3 Award, and Carmen Lillo and Catuxa Salom received an Honorable Mention (Accésit).
