Atlético de Madrid has confirmed a pre-season friendly match against Manchester United, scheduled for Saturday, August 1st, at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm at 3:00 PM.

This match, part of the Snapdragon CUP, offers another chance for the 'rojiblanco' squad to compete against an international opponent before the official season begins. The Strawberry Arena is not an unfamiliar venue for Atlético, as the Madrid club has played there previously.
The Madrid entity recalled that the team last played at this stadium in August 2019. On that occasion, Atlético de Madrid faced Italian club Juventus in another pre-season friendly, securing a 2-1 victory.
