Alcalá supports entrepreneurs to boost local economy

The mayor highlights the role of business owners in generating wealth and employment in the city.

The mayor of Alcalá, Judith Piquet, along with councilor Antonio Peñalver, attended the presentation of the Madrid Business Club for the Eastern Zone, reaffirming municipal support.

The mayor of Alcalá, Judith Piquet, accompanied by the Councilor for Economic Development and Employment, Antonio Peñalver, participated this week in the presentation in Alcalá of the Madrid Business Club for the Eastern Zone of the Community of Madrid.
Piquet emphasized the commitment of the municipal government of Alcalá to the business sector, stating that “from the Government of Alcalá, we will always support entrepreneurs, working together, because they are the ones generating wealth, employment, and opportunities.”
The mayor added that the city council will provide support “within our competencies in everything they need to grow the city's business fabric,” assuring that entrepreneurs have “a great ally in the Alcalá City Council and you can count on us for whatever we can help with within our competencies.”
In this regard, Piquet described the initiative as “magnificent news for our city and, particularly for its economic and business sector.” She concluded that “anything that facilitates the growth and creation of companies and entrepreneurs is good for Alcalá and its citizens.”
