The Minister of Digitalization, Miguel López-Valverde, held a meeting in Miami with the president of the Federation of Binational Chambers of Commerce (FEBICHAM), Patricio Sepúlveda. The main objective was to promote the international expansion of Madrid-based companies.
López-Valverde emphasized the importance of collaboration with organizations like FEBICHAM to connect Madrid's talent and digital capabilities with global companies and initiatives, reinforcing its position as an innovation hub.
During the meeting, new forms of cooperation were explored to position the Community of Madrid as a benchmark destination for technological and innovative projects. The minister highlighted that the region has over 345,000 professionals in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.
The initiatives launched by the regional government to foster international collaboration and attract projects related to the most advanced digital tools were highlighted, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), considered strategic for economic transformation.
Furthermore, the strength of Madrid's business fabric, comprising over 2,600 technology companies, was underscored.
