Taxpayers in Torrejón de Ardoz will benefit from a new municipal tax payment system starting in 2027, allowing debts to be paid in 8 monthly installments. This measure will apply to the Property Tax (IBI), the Mechanical Traction Vehicle Tax (IVTM), the Fee for the Service of Collection, Transport, and Treatment of Waste, and the Fee for Vehicle Entry through Sidewalks (VADOS).
Applications to join this installment plan can be submitted between September 15 and December 31, 2026, either in person at the City Council or through the new Virtual Tax Office (https://tributos.ayto-torrejon.es/). Payments will be processed from March 15 to October 15, 2027, without interest, and a 5% discount will be applied for direct debit.
To be eligible for this payment system, all receipts for the taxpayer must be included, with a total amount exceeding 100 euros and no outstanding executive debts at the time of application. The monthly payment will consolidate the current year's debts for the same taxpayer for IBI, vehicle tax, waste fee, and access fee, with payments made on the 15th of each month from March to October.
