The main objective of this comprehensive intervention is to raise road safety standards, facilitate accessibility, and organize vehicle flow within the urban area.
The most significant action will take place on Joselito street, next to the Valdemera Public School. This plot, approximately 2,000 square meters with an estimated capacity for 80 vehicles, will receive a considerable investment for its integral asphalting and horizontal signage, ensuring safety and optimal space utilization.
Other important interventions include the adaptation of a second plot of 3,000 square meters on Guerrita street, which will accommodate around 120 cars. The land will be leveled, compacted with gravel, and milled to create a safe and accessible parking area.
Furthermore, a 2,500 square meter plot located on Venezuela street, opposite the bullring, is currently being prepared. This area, with capacity for a hundred vehicles, will improve access to the bullring and safely accommodate demand during the upcoming Patron Saint Festivities.
The Councilor for City Maintenance and Security, Rodrigo Morales, emphasized that the priority is to enhance the comfort and tranquility of residents, responding to their demands and ensuring safer mobility for all.
In parallel, the City Council is studying a reorganization of parking on several streets in Sector XXIII, such as Dublin, Nicosia, and Berlin streets, to transition from parallel parking to angled parking. This measure would significantly increase parking availability in the area without occupying new land.
