Torrejón de Ardoz Offers Diverse Free Exhibitions

The Casa de la Cultura, the Museo de la Ciudad, and other centers host painting, photography, and design exhibitions until early May.

Torrejón de Ardoz maintains an active cultural program with various free exhibitions in its centers, offering residents and visitors a wide artistic selection until early May.

The Casa de la Cultura, located at Calle Londres, 5, presents the painting exhibition Retrospectiva by Esperanza Salinero, available until May 3. Visiting hours are Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00, and Sundays from 11:00 to 14:00. Additionally, in the lobby of the first floor of the same center, visitors can see the final days of the exhibition Una vida entre hilos, by Macarena San José Montero, open from 9:00 to 21:00.
The Museo de la Ciudad, situated at Avenida de la Constitución, 61, will host the exhibition Fotogramas. Gomas bicromatadas, by artist Félix J. Rodríguez, until May 10. Interested individuals can visit from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. A meeting with the artist is scheduled to take place from 19:00.
Meanwhile, La Caja del Arte, at the intersection of Calle Joaquín Blume and Calle Eos, is showcasing the exhibition Faces by Hermes Blcr, which can be visited until April 29. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 10:30 to 13:00.
The Centro Cultural El Parque, at Calle Hilados s/n, offers an exhibition of end-of-course workshops in design, fashion, pattern making, and cutting and sewing, running until April 24, from 9:00 to 21:00. Similarly, the Centro Cultural Las Fronteras, at Calle Salvador Allende, 7, features a collective painting exhibition by students from IES Valle Inclán, available until May 6, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00. A meeting with the artists will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 18:00.
Finally, the Centro Cultural Rafael Alberti, located at Calle Cañada, 50, is displaying the exhibition Remembers fliyers, a mural made from 90s nightclub tickets, until April 29. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
