The town of Torrejón de Ardoz is preparing for a new edition of 'Torrestock', an opportunities fair that will offer significant discounts in 76 local businesses throughout the month of May.

This well-established initiative in the municipality primarily aims to revitalize the local economy, help merchants clear stock, and provide attractive offers to residents. The fair will take place from May 2nd to 31st in the participating establishments themselves, adhering to their usual business hours.

"It is a unique opportunity for participating merchants to liquidate seasonal items at a more economical price than usual, while also benefiting consumers with a wide range of quality products at good prices, with significant discounts and offers."

The municipal leadership highlighted that this proposal represents a "winning combination" that attracts the public and serves as a platform to increase sales and improve the visibility of businesses. The Department of Employment of the Torrejón de Ardoz City Council promotes this action to showcase the city's commercial fabric.
By being held directly in the shops, 'Torrestock' encourages the rediscovery of neighborhood stores, promoting a closer relationship between merchants and citizens, and strengthening local identity. This Opportunities Fair began in 2008 and has evolved annually to adapt to the needs of merchants, always maintaining the objective of boosting local commerce as a driver of development, social cohesion, and urban sustainability.
