This municipal program combines various activities, including study support workshops, cultural and sports proposals, as well as board game sessions. The main objective is to offer a safe and enriching environment that helps young people occupy their free time constructively.
The initiative is designed to welcome both adolescents without specific problems and those facing affective, emotional, or academic difficulties, maladaptive behaviors at school, or family conflicts. All minors registered or residing in Torrejón de Ardoz can participate.
Activities take place at the Rafael Alberti Cultural Center, with schedules on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During these sessions, two social educators and a sociocultural animator provide support to participants, both individually and in groups.
“"The initiative already serves over a hundred minors. The program seeks to equip adolescents with tools to resolve conflicts among peers and offers individualized attention to minors and their families."
In addition to indoor activities, 'Calle Joven' also extends to streets and parks, providing healthy sports and leisure alternatives. The Councillor for Social Welfare, Rubén Martínez, highlighted the program's positive reception, which already benefits over a hundred young people.
